iSucceed students can make connections with teachers, students and other families—both face-to-face and through virtual means.

A vibrant learning community enriches the high school experience. While some iSucceed students are self-sufficient and desire little support, others may seek more structure, guidance, encouragement and collaboration.

How can you make meaningful connections as an iSucceed Virtual High School student?

• Stay linked with your iSupport team. Your iMentor and instructors share the same goal—your success. Call on them as needed.
• Gather periodically face-to-face. Through a partnership with the University of Phoenix, students can gather at campus locations throughout Idaho to meet with their iMentor, other iSucceed students, families, and teachers.
• Join student clubs and organizations. Become a writer for the student newspaper, formulate experiments as a member of the science club, hone your visual arts skills in the photography or video game club, run for student government…you can even start your own interest group.
• Attend school social events. Occasional dances, periodic field trips and graduation ceremonies will be held throughout the state. These events are facilitated by iSucceed Community Coordinators. Yes, there will be a prom!
• Include your family. Parent participation greatly contributes to your success.
• Get involved in your local community. Because iSucceed is so flexible, you’ll have more time to explore volunteer opportunities, community sports, and job internships.
